5.1 Appointments must be booked in advance by:

6.1 All examinations will be conducted by qualified ophthalmic consultants employed by Veonet Ireland.

6.2 The consulting ophthalmologist will determine which diagnostic tests are clinically appropriate based on:

  • Clinical findings during examination
  • Best practice clinical guidelines

6.3 Patients are not entitled to demand specific tests or procedures. All clinical decisions rest with the consulting ophthalmologist.

6.4 If the examination reveals conditions requiring treatment, follow-up care, or specialist intervention, these will be discussed with the patient. Any subsequent treatment or appointments will be subject to standard fees unless otherwise agreed.

6.5 Veonet Ireland reserves the right to refuse or discontinue an examination if:

  • The patient is abusive or threatening to staff
  • The patient is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • There are safety concerns
  • The patient refuses to comply with reasonable clinical instructions

7.1 Patients must provide accurate and complete medical history information, including:

  • Current medications

  • Previous eye conditions or surgeries
  • Relevant systemic health conditions (diabetes, hypertension, etc.)
  • Family history of eye disease

7.2 Failure to disclose relevant medical information may compromise the examination and could pose health risks.
